Good morning everyone, overnight, the Storm Prediction Center issued a risk area for Monday over eastern Texas, much of Louisiana, and much of Mississippi. This area is considered the more significant risk area because a squall line is expected to develop across North Texas Monday Morning, this will sweep across the areas in red as we go on through Columbus Day. The squall line will be producing damaging winds, possibly widespread and significant, a few tornadoes, and perhaps some large hail. If this verifies, widespread power outages would be possible in the red area, but not everyone is guaranteed to see severe weather... so stay tuned.
