Freeze Watches issued for parts of the South as a strong cold front approaches

A rare October freeze is becoming likely for parts of the south as a strong cold front begins to approach the region, tonight and tomorrow a front will sweep across the South, bringing cooler air and a low chance of rain.
Here you can see the GFS, which is showing a freeze across much of Mississippi and Alabama with temperatures in the mid 30's going all the way from Florida to Texas, with isolated 50's farther south. This freeze would occur Saturday Morning and perhaps Sunday Morning farther north. High's will be from the 50's in Northern MS and AL to 70's across the rest of the south. Cooler air and more rain is on the horizon, more on that soon.
Note: Light blue color indicates a freeze watch, darker blue colors indicate a freeze warning.
